LEAGUE PLAY FAQ
HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN BE ON A TEAM?
A team can have as many players on their roster, but on any given week, a team MUST field a team of at least TWO players and no more than SIX players. In other words, you do not need to have same players playing every week, you can bring in substitute players at any time.
If a team fails to field a team of at least TWO players, their team scores 0 points for that session.
WHAT PLATFORM IS USED TO PLAY TUESDAY NIGHT LEAGUE PLAY?
The Tuesday Night League Play is played on ZOOM and uses a Google document answer form.
The ZOOM link be the same for each session of a season. A new Google document answer form will be issued to the team captains before every session.

HOW DO TEAMS GAIN POINTS?
All teams automatically get 2 points per week (regardless where the rank that week) when at least TWO team members show up.
In addition, teams will receive these points per week.
1st place = 4 points
2nd place = 3 points
3rd place = 2 points
4th place = 1 points
The teams are ranked based on total points.
CAN WE WIN MONEY?
Yes! The first place team at the end of the season wins a cash prize. There is also a prize for second place. The last placed team at the end of the six weeks will also get a cash prize. A team that scores 0 in a session (for reason of not having enough players for a session) does not qualify for the last place team at the end of a season. The cash prizes can be used as credit to pay for the following season’s fees, or can be sent to the team captain via e-transfer.
DO TEAMS NEED TO PLAY IN EVERY SEASON?
A team is committed to the six-session season upon payment of that season’s fees. A team can opt not to participate in a season prior to the date the fees are due.
HOW DO I COMMUNICATE WITH MY TEAM DURING THE QUIZZES?
All players will be muted on the ZOOM meeting. We recommend using a second app/device to communicate with team members who are not in the same locations.
