WHO WE ARE

We are twin brothers Andrew and Jess Zalameda and we have been hooked on trivia ever since we were given the Trivial Pursuit: Genus Edition at the age of ten. And while the two of us probably couldn’t tell you where our keys or wallets are at the moment, we could probably recite to you the starting lineup of the 1993 Toronto Blue Jays or every word of the script of Young Frankenstein with very little problem.

 

We began writing and hosting pop culture trivia quizzes and events in Toronto in 2018 at such venues as Boo Radley’s, The Duke of Devon, The Duke of Somerset, Mana Pool Board Game Bistro, and The Alpine. Our list of clients for corporate and private events include: Microsoft Canada, RBC, TESL Toronto, Tilley Endurables, and EC Toronto.

 

In April of 2020, we pivoted and turned to online Zoom events during the COVID lockdown. We hosted semi-monthly quizzes free of charge, as well as Tuesday Night League Play where teams pay-to-play in six-week tournaments.

 

Also during the pandemic, we syndicated our quizzes to Dublin Calling in Vancouver, as well as hosted numerous online corporate and private events, including some quizzes aimed at European markets.

 

In the spring of 2022, we returned to live events at Boo Radley’s and The People’s Pint Brewing Company, and we were featured on an episode of the web series Quiz Boss hosted by Adam Crowe (the “Cash Cab” guy). We contiued to do corporate events for CAA and Northbridge Insurance,

 

For the  2023-24 season, we started presenting events at Left Field Brewery, High Park x Lost Craft Brewery, and Granite Brewery.
